Maarch Team is proud to introduce Maarch Framework 3.0. Since the release candidate, we took particularly care of the stability of the application.

Special thanks for this version to Mathieu DONZEL (S.A.G.E.S. Informatique), who wrote the initial module for full text indexing and searching, which has already been integrated.
Also thanks to the Maarch Community for its ideas, its involvement and bug hunting.
Maarch Framework 3.0 is the occasion to change the licence of the software. From now on, it is released under the terms of GNU GPLv3 licence.
We tried to provide better documentation for this version. It is not final yet, and a lot of changes are to be expected in the next few weeks. You can still check it out here.
Maarch Framework now supports MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server. Oracle Support is currently in development.
Maarch AutoImport is very tied to Maarch Framework. A new version has been released to follow the evolution of the framework.
Amongst the main changes, Maarch AutoImport now supports MySQL PostgreSQL and SQL Server. It also has better log management.
A major version demands a new interface. Maarch Framework 3 has undergone an extreme makeover: the new design aims to be more comfy, soft. It also have better support for large resolution.
Some functionalities have been added to the core of the framework in order to extend configuration possibilities.
Statuses management makes it possible for administrators, via the administration panel, to set up every status a document can have in the application.
Action management panel is somewhat the control center of what can be done with which documents and by who.
These two functionalities are currently only implemented in basket module. Its support will be extended to the rest of the framework progressively.
The first big evolution is the configuration of different types of batches. You can now foresee several digitization scenarii, and set the way barcode separators are generated accordingly.
An example ? a type of batch for folders scanning, where each type of document in the folder is identified by its own separator; a type for single-page documents to be send to postindexing, with a single separator to identify the whole batch; etc.
The second evolution: barcode customization. Especially with batch types, it was necessary to generate different barcodes according to the context. It is now possible!
It is a must have for a DMS solution. It is now available in Maarch Framework. Set up your processes, manage tasks, events and actors, receive your task list, put watermarks on docs...
With workflows and baskets, document circulation in your company has no limits!
Ok, it is not completely new. It has however been totally rewritten. It has been design to support custom actions and statuses to bring heavy configuration possibilities.
With this new module, you will be able to comment and annotate any indexed document. Comment, discuss, share...

Thanks to Mathieu DONZEL (S.A.G.E.S. Informatique) work, using Zend Lucene full text indexing and searching engine, this is now possible with Maarch Framework!.
Full text functionalities are currently only available for text PDF, but their support will soon be extended to other filetypes.
After mass import and automatic indexing, it is necessary to have human control on documents indexing. You can now do it in Maarch Framework.
You can find all documentation on Maarch Wiki, including a overview of Maarch Sample.
You can also check out online demo to have an overviewof Maarch functionalities.
