This version of Maarch LetterBox has been developpêd thanks to the contribution of Istres township.

Maarch LetterBox now follows a three-month release cycle

Maarch LetterBox is currently our most packaged application.

It has a growing community and benefits from numerous contributions : bug reports, developments, translation and financial contributions.Its evolution is consequently quite fast.

In order to achieve a better management of its development, Maarch LetterBox, from this version on, follows a three-month release cycle.

Config File Cleaning

Maarch LetterBox configuration file (./xml/config.xml) still had several unused or obsolete options. Those have been taken out from this release.

Another change is quite important. The <ftphomedir> tag is an artifact from when files where transfered to Maarch through FTP. Since it uses HTTP transfers, This tag only designate a temp directory. <ftphomedir> has then been renamed to <tmpdir>.

January 1st Bug Fixed

Last 1st January, a bug stopped users from indexing files in Maarch LetterBox. The fix proposed in the forum (http://www.maarch.org/maarch_forum/viewtopic.php?p=1048#p1048) has been integrated in Maarch LetterBox 2.5.

No more problem next year !

Advanced search

Advanced search form

Advanced search form has been completely revisited aand redesigned in version 2.5. Search criteria list is now fully dynamic: only display which criteria you want to perform your search on.

Saving search criteria

Wait, there is more! You can now save your search criterias to use them again later !pour les réutiliser plus tard.

Folder logs in processing page

Knowing a folder's log while processing it can be quite handy (who start to process it? Who consulted it ? etc.).

This possibility has been added to Maarch LetterBox 2.5.

Modifying mailing lists in redirection forms

Version 2.4 of Maarch LetterBox brought the possibility to re-expediate amail to another department or user.

This feature is now extended with the ability to modify the new mailing list associated to the department.
